This book contains critical texts by several writers that trace the life and works of Carlfriedrich Claus in this profusely illustrated and documented catalogue raisonne (1944-1989). In addition, it includes several critical essays by Claus on the artistic and poetic works of other authors. Scope and Contents

The two prints by Carlfriedrich Claus included in this portfolio are depicted and described on page 60 of Claus' "Das druckgraphische Werk." Claus also provided an introductory essay. The Werkman piece is a reproduction from an Issue of "Next Call" and the folded print reproduces the text and illustrations for "Explodity."
